Description
Description: this classic rich and dark pudding is made with my traditional recipe of dried fruits, prunes, spices, suet, brandy and stout, and comes wrapped in Calico cloth with a Westbourne Lane Gift Tag.
The Pudding makes for the most amazing Christmas dessert centrepiece or special gift. Don’t miss out on these hand crafted puddings with all the smells and nostalgia of Christmas!
Heating Instructions:
Method 1: Reheat in the bag- if reheating in the bag, place sealed pudding in the bag in a pot of lightly simmering water for around 60 minutes with the seal of the bag out of the water, hanging over side of pot if possible. Remove pudding, snip open bag, and very carefully place on a serving plate *please note, if seal, or the bag appears loose or broken, remove from the bag and heat in microwave.
Method 2. Remove pudding from the sealed bag and microwave until warm.
Serve with Vanilla Anglaise, Custard, Cream or Ice Cream
Ingredients: Raisins, prunes, currants, sultanas, suet (beef fat), candied peel, dark brown sugar, oranges, cinnamon, mixed spices, nutmeg, brandy, stout, milk, flour, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt
Contains: eggs, milk, dairy, gluten, traces of alcohol may remain, less than 1%
Weight: 1.2kg, serves 8-12
Store unopened pudding in a cool dry place, or in the fridge
Once pudding and seal is opened, keep in fridge and consume within several days.
